Origin

In 2022, I participated in a one-week Game Jam with Ash Shibata and Scotti Anderson that produced a simple platformer demo where you control a small helper bot named Sparks who tries to retrieve the ingredients for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

A month or so later we did some additional work and brought on Jesse Adamore to create music and sound.

In January of 2026, while on break from another project, Scotti and I made a few additional improvements so that we could finally make it available.
